Q: What is owned by the town of
Zionsville?
A:
The streets, curbs, sidewalks, street lights, and street signs in
Village Walk are owned and maintained by the town of Zionsville.
Q: What is privately owned?
A:
The commons or green space within Village Walk is owned and
maintained by the Homeowner’s Association. This includes the park
equipment, park/pond signage, pond and fountain, and all trees.
Village Walk maintains the trees and grassy areas that border our
neighborhood along Ford and Kissel roads.
Q: Who is responsible for snow removal?
A:
The town of Zionsville is responsible for snow removal on the public
streets within our subdivision. The town is also responsible for
concrete patching and repairing. Each homeowner is responsible for
clearing the sidewalks that border their property.
Q: Who should I call about nuisance
animals?
A: The
Town of Zionsville has specific language in the Town Ordinances
regarding nuisance animals.

Q: What's the rule about outdoor
burning?
A:
Outdoor burning of household trash or garbage is prohibited by the
Town of Zionsville. See Chapter 9, Article II, Section 9-6. Only
clean firewood may be burned and may only be burned in approved
containers.
